The 350 Home & Garden Challenge will take place this year on May 18-19 in front yards and backyards all across the county. This event encourages thousands to transform Sonoma County homes and gardens by taking practical actions such as replacing lawns with edible landscapes, installing greywater systems, line-drying clothing, or going car-free.
SV GLEANING PROJECT- COMMUNITY OPPORTUNITIES!
Lend a hand, share your orchard with the SV Gleaning project.Working with and connecting community to collect surplus local produce to distribute to low-income youth, families and seniors.

Looking for a place to garden? The garden program at the public schools is thriving thanks to volunteer help. One local school, Prestwood Elementary, is in need of help. You could do a wonderful public service to help get the garden growing and share in the harvest. Contact Ed Clay at 224-3169.
